• Plea Bargaining

Plea bargaining is never a first option but, it is an option. We can help during criminal defense negotiations on your behalf. Our goal is to avoid a criminal conviction that can cause you to lose your civil rights. With no conviction you can have your records sealed or expunged. as a result employers or friends may not be able to find out about your criminal arrest charges.

  • Pre Trial Diversion

Pre-Trial Intervention and Pre Trial Diversion Programs can be used for negotiation in many misdemeanor and simple felony cases. You may be asked to perform community service hours, drug testing, an anger management class or a values class. When you complete the program successfully, the State of Florida will dismiss all the charges against you. At that point, we can expunge your record, so no one will know you were arrested.

  • Fort Lauderdale Criminal Defense

Guy Seligman and his criminal defense legal team have handled hundreds of arrests in Fort Lauderdale. Many of our criminal cases result in dismissals, nolle prosses or negotiations. However, your background and the number of offenses for which you are charged will have an effect on the outcome.

Hello, I was in an accident several years ago, I had insurence but only pip not liability. The person was fine and later sued me. On top of that it was his fault! I had moved to NY and when he sued me I was never notified and did not know anything about this until I moved back to florida and they suspended my license. I do not want to pay for something because someone is sue happy. This just isn't right. They want $500 down and $400 a month to pay for this to reinstate my license. I can't work if I can't drive so I am wondering if bankrupcy is my only option. Please help Thank you
